Cookie policy
Complete list of the cookies and storage technologies used by the Flyper website: name, purpose, duration and owner. No profiling or marketing cookies.
This notice is given under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, Directive 2002/58/EC as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC, and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines of 10 June 2021. It forms an integral part of Privacy policy.
Why there is no banner
A banner exists to collect consent. Consent is needed when a site installs tools that go beyond what is necessary: analytics, advertising, profiling.
This site uses none of them. Everything it stores is technical, all of it necessary either to make it work or to carry out a service you asked for, and Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 expressly exempts it from consent.
Asking you for consent we do not need would be one more click and no more information. We would rather tell you exactly what is there.

02What they are, briefly
A cookie is a small text file a site asks the browser to keep and which the browser sends back on later requests. Local storage is an area of the browser where a site can save information which, unlike cookies, is not sent to the server with every request: it stays on your device until you delete it.
On this page we call both of them storage technologies, because the law treats them the same way.
03What this site stores
In the browser’s local storage
These stay on your device and never reach a server of ours.
flyper-skin- What it holds
- The word
lightordark. - Why
- Remembering whether you chose the light or the dark theme, so no page starts on the wrong one.
- Duration
- Until you delete it.
flyper-valuta- What it holds
- The code
EURorUSD. - Why
- Remembering which currency you want prices in.
- Duration
- Until you delete it.
flyper-carrello- What it holds
- A random cart identifier issued by the shop.
- Why
- Finding your cart again when you change page, and carrying it through to checkout.
- Duration
- Until you delete it or complete the order.
In the browser’s session storage
It exists only in the open tab, never reaches a server of ours, and disappears when you close the tab.
flyper-cassa-campi- What it holds
- The details you have already typed into the checkout form.
- Why
- Sparing you from typing them again when you change language at checkout: the checkout in the other language puts them back.
- Duration
- Deleted as soon as the checkout in the other language reads it, and in any event when the tab is closed.
First-party cookies
Set by the WooCommerce shop behind the site, on the same domain.
wp_woocommerce_session_*- Owner
- Flyper S.r.l.
- Why
- Linking the cart session on the server: without it the cart empties on every request.
- Duration
- 48 hours.
woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart- Owner
- Flyper S.r.l.
- Why
- Signalling that the cart has changed, so the count in the bar stays right.
- Duration
- Browser session.
Third-party cookies, on the checkout page only
These are set by Stripe when you open the checkout, and they protect the payment. They appear on no other page of the site.
__stripe_mid- Owner
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd
- Why
- Recognising the device for card fraud prevention.
- Duration
- 1 year.
__stripe_sid- Owner
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd
- Why
- Linking the steps of a single payment session.
- Duration
- 30 minutes.
They are strictly necessary to carry out the payment service you request by pressing the purchase button, and therefore fall within the exemption in Article 122. The processing is described in Stripe’s own notice at stripe.com/privacy.
04The typefaces
The typefaces used by the pages come from our own server, and install nothing.
Until September 2026 they came from Google Fonts. That was not a cookie, but in order to deliver the font file Google received the IP address of whoever opened a page, and received it before anyone could choose. For a typeface that is not a consent you can honestly ask for: the page stays readable anyway, so the request could be avoided altogether. We have avoided it.
05What this site does not do
- No profiling cookies, of any kind, from any provider.
- No advertising cookies, no social platform pixels, no ad network tags.
- No analytics tool. There is no Google Analytics or equivalent: we do not know how many pages you saw or where you came from.
- No third-party embedded content: no video, no maps, no social widgets. The Instagram link is a link and nothing more.
- No sharing of identifiers with other sites or advertisers.
- No third-party domain is contacted when a page opens: typefaces, images, stylesheets and scripts all come from here. The one exception is the checkout, where the payment form belongs to Stripe.
If one day we introduce any of these, a consent banner will appear before it is activated and this page will be updated accordingly. Not afterwards, and not silently.
06How to delete what is there
You need no permission from us and no preference panel: you can clear everything from your browser at any time. Deleting flyper-carrello loses the contents of your cart; deleting the others returns the site to the dark theme, Italian and prices in euro.
You can also browse in a private window: nothing remains when you close it. Blocking first-party cookies stops the cart from working, because the cart is what uses them.
07Your rights
The tools described here process personal data. The rights under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR apply in full, together with the ways of exercising them set out in Privacy policy. You can always write to customercare@flyper.it and lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
08Changes
If anything changes we update this page and the date at the top. If a tool requiring consent were introduced, the consent would be collected before activation, not announced afterwards.
