One hundred and fifty pieces do not fill a shop window.

A numbered series does not reach everywhere, and does not try to. Few frames leave the bench, and they go where someone can tell their story: a handful of addresses, chosen one by one, with the real pieces to pick up.

We call them stops because that is how they began: a short route, opened one leg at a time. Below is where it runs today, and where it will run.

The route has just opened: Roma is the only active stop, the other five are the cities where we are choosing the optician. Names, addresses and hours for the next ones appear on this page as soon as they are signed.

What happens at the stop.

It is not a pickup point and not a shop window: half an hour, the frame in your hands and someone who knows why it is made this way.

    You try them

    All five, one after the other, with whichever colours are in. It is the only way to find out which one is yours.

  2. 02

    They measure you

    Bridge and temple length can only be judged in person. The code printed inside the temple stops being a number.

  3. 03

    You choose the number

    Every piece carries its own, from 001 to 150. If the one you want is in the shop, it is yours.

  4. 04

    You take it away

    If the piece is in the shop it leaves with you. If not, we order it there and it arrives at your door, shipping and duties included.

Are you an optician, and does this route run near you?

We are looking for one address per city, not one per district. What counts is the bench, not the floor space: whoever sells a numbered series has to be able to explain why there are one hundred and fifty and not a thousand.
